Getting ready.....
Just getting this blog ready for our big trip this summer! We have been working via internet, guide books (thank you Rick Steves!) and personal recommendations from friends both here and in the UK on what to see, where to go, how to travel. I have a profound new appreciation for travel agents.
So far so good and we have nearly our whole itinerary fleshed out and hotels booked. Waiting to be able to secure rail passes, but can not do that till April-May and in some cases a few weeks before our arrival.
Making sure we see ancestral sites in England and plenty of time to scour the V & A Museum in London!
